³Ô¹ÏÖ±²¥ offers an Associate of Arts Degree in Social Sciences. The Social Sciences degree program focuses on

    • History
    • Political Science
    • Psychology
    • Sociology
    • Economics
    • Criminal Justice

It provides an outstanding starting point for students interested in pursuing a career or a bachelor's degree in any of these fields. 

Students complete the core classes including English, Science, and Math. In addition, students are provided with the required basic knowledge of history, political science, psychology, sociology, economics and criminal justice, allowing for a successful transfer to a bachelor program, if desired. Electives will be selected following consultation with a faculty advisor.

    • University of Georgia

Graduates of this program either transfer to a four-year degree program at one of these colleges or they find employment. Holding a two-year degree in Social Sciences from EGSC will certainly start the process of preparing you for the job market as well in fields as wide-ranging as: education, the legal profession, law enforcement, government services, business, counseling, human resources, religious ministry, library science, and others.
