Daily Fire & Crime Log

The 吃瓜直播 Police Department maintains a daily fire and crime log in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act). Log entries are intended to provide transparent and timely information about criminal, non-criminal, and fire related incidents reported to campus police. Incidents are to be entered within (2) business days of being reported to campus police. In some cases, there may be a gap between the occurrence of an event and when it was reported.

The College may withhold information from entry if any of the following conditions apply:

- The disclosure is prohibited by law.
- If disclosure would jeopardize the confidentiality of a victim.
- If disclosure would jeopardize an ongoing criminal investigation or the safety of an individual.
- If disclosure would cause a suspect to flee or evade detection.
- If disclosure would result in the destruction of evidence.

2025080001	Medical Emergency	16 Bobcat Lane, Swainsboro GA	8/6/2025 10:13 a.m.	8/6/2025 12:00:00 p.m.	EGSC PD received a call about a student with severe stomach pain. EMS was dispatched and transported student to the hospital.
2025080002	Fire Trouble/Supervisory Alert	30 Bobcat Lane, Swainsboro GA	8/7/2025 9:04 p.m.	8/7/2025 10:46 p.m.	EGSC PD responded to a fire alarm that was caused by food burning on the stove while cooking. Officer notified Housing staff and Corvias. No fire or unsafe conditions.

2025080005	Medical Emergency	4 Bobcat Lane, Swainsboro GA	8/11/25 6:06 p.m.	8/11/25 6:22 a.m.	911 dispatched EGSC PD to BCVS in reference to a student needing medical assistance. EMS transported student to EMC.
2025080006	Fire Trouble/Supervisory Alert	30 Bobcat Lane, Swainsboro GA	8/11/25 8:22 p.m.	8/11/25 8:34 p.m.	EGSC PD responded to a fire alarm notification. No fire or unsafe conditions present.
2025080007	Criminal Trespass/Simple Battery	30 Bobcat Lane, Swainsboro GA	8/12/25 10:00 p.m.	8/12/25 11:00 p.m.	EGSC Student reported alleged simple battery and criminal trespass (destroyed property) by a non student who was let into the dorms. Case is open active pending further investigation.
2025080008	Vehicle Collision	131 College Circle, Swainsboro GA	8/12/25 5:50 p.m.	8/12/25 6:03 p.m.	EGSC PD responded to a two vehicle collision. Vehicles collided while backing. No injuries reported. Vehicles sustained minor damage.
